What We Do

Good People Make a Good Club!

The Northwest ORV Association was formed as an all-volunteer non-profit organization by a group of outdoor enthusiasts working together to ensure the preservation of the sport of off-road riding in the Grand Traverse area. The main purpose of our Association is to work with the Michigan DNR to maintain 42 miles ORV Routes & ATV Trails in the five-county Grand Traverse Bay area, to that end, further tourism and activity at area businesses all while enjoying the beauty of northwest Michigan.

We also plan group rides, events, and fundraisers throughout the year while promoting ORV riding as a safe and family oriented recreational activity with the encouragement of responsible riding habits. Your membership and donations help support our work and helps us to reach our goals. We encourage you to patronize our area business sponsors. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Our General Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month, 7:00 pm at the Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club groomer barn located at 7299 Carpenter Creek Rd., Traverse City, MI (Map). Our meetings are also on Zoom, this meeting is for members and non-members alike who want to learn more about our activities.

Happy trails and safe riding!
